“If we are born in sin, how is it fair for God to judge us for our sin?“
You know that I love you so. I love you enough to let you go.
I’ve been in hell long enough to know that there is no such thing as redemption. There are only promises and bargains and tricks we play on ourselves to make us believe that we’re good people. I’m not a good person. I own that. And if I’m going down, I’m going out with a bang.

I don’t hurt people. I don’t do that. I’m the good brother.
tvd + season 5“I’m afraid the doppelgänger lore’s been misinterpreted over the ages. The prophecy is that the doppelgänger blood can help the Travelers, but they’re being drawn together because of a spell I cast 1500 years ago. Two thousand years ago, Silas and Qetsiyah cast a spell for immortality. It created a schism in the Traveler community, giving rise to the witches. They tried to keep us scattered to make us forget how powerful we can be. The witches put a curse on us that kept us from settling down as a tribe. Whenever we’ve tried to gather, disaster struck – plagues, earthquakes, fire. Something inevitably wiped us out.”
Maybe home is nothing but two arms holding you tight when you’re at your worst.

Bonnie: He was trying to reach me!
Abby: No, Bonnie. He didn’t open that door, you did.
Everyone’s so angry but to me this episode proved one more time why Steroline is the best ship of this show. They are real, grounded, they discuss their problems, they are not about words but about acting on their love and showing understanding. This is why I shipped them in the first place.
