tvd was just a chapter of caroline forbes’s story. she was always meant to be a vampire, she was the only one who loved it with ll her heart, she was the only one who was perfect at it. she was a dark supernatural creature who never lost her kindness or goodness or compassion.
she was the last vampire standing, the only immortal left. she’s going to go on to fucking rule the supernatural world, she has so much left to do, so much of her life left to live, her daughters to raise, new friends to make and new adventures to have, and dreams to reach. her ending makes me so emotional because it was so open ended, like we know she is going to have everything and be everything she ever wanted because she was always brilliant
